Asia Pageant 2004 ¡¨ has just unveiled its results.
A well-known listing local gold and jewelry retailer
and wholesaler, Luk Fook Holdings (International)
Limited has all along supported this famous beauty contest in the town. To celebrate
this memorable event, the Group held a presentation ceremony at its retail shop
in Jordan, Kowloon. Apart from the Group¡¦ senior management and the new-birth
Miss Asia, the most eye-catching is the specially designed Crown which comprises
jade and diamond, and a series of jewellery presented to the titleholders.

jade and diamond to the winner of Miss Asia
Pageant Miss
Lu Jing Jing. The Group¡¦s Director Miss Yeung Po Ling officiated the coronation
ceremony. The new design of the crown for Miss Asian Pageant worth HK$1,250,000
and was inspired by the landscape of Chinese Empire. Jade, the precious stone
with rising popularity and staging the Chinese architectural element, also
makes parts of the Crown. Moreover, the hallmark of Miss Asia Pageant comprises
yellow sapphire and diamond so as to create a sharp and glittering effect.
The hallmark itself can separately become a brooch. The crown is made of 100
pieces of diamond, which stages an extravagant Asian feature.
Furthermore , the 18K platinum pendants consisted of diamond and jade were
presented to the first runner-up Miss Shine Wang, the second runner-up Miss
Queenie Fung and Miss Photogenic Miss Sherine Wong. The accessories were
adorned with graceful and exquisite design of the Group and certainly add
shimmer to the beauty of the titleholders.
