invited the newly crowned Miss Hong Kong 2005 and Miss
Charity (Ms Tracy Ip), together with the first runner-up (Ms Sharon Luk),
the second runner-up (Ms Carrie Lam), Miss International Goodwill (Ms Natalie
Khor), and Miss Photogenic (Ms Shermon Tang) to the Group¡¦s branch shop
at Mongkok to attend the prize presentation ceremony specially organized
for them. Their elegance and sophistication once again have proven to public
that their beauty had stood through stringent selection of the judges.
As the designated sponsor of the crown and jewellery for the Miss Hong Kong
Pageant for the eighth consecutive years, Luk Fook is honoured to witness
the history of the Pageant and the birth of the previous Miss Hong Kong winners.
For such a memorable event, Luk Fook has set up uniquely a crown production
team with exquisite design and brilliant craftsmanship skills. The team selected
850 pieces of quality diamond, a total of 38.2 carats diamond. The principal
diamond of the crown is made up of a 2.09-carats South African PSAD diamond.
The cost of the value of the crown exceeds HK$1.6 million.
The output of the
diamond mine in South Africa is famous for its history, flawless and clarity.
PSA is the only diamond production plant that recognized
by the South African government because of its strict standard on cutting
and abrasive procedure. Every piece of diamond is imprinted with PDAD mark
as a quality assurance of meeting the South African government¡¦s requirements.

During the ceremony, Mr Wong presented to Ms Tracy Ip, Miss Hong Kong 2005
the crown, and Ms Pauline Yeung, director of the Group as well as a Miss Hong
Kong shown up to host the coronation. Ms Yeung, self-assured and gracious,
demonstrated to the winners what should a perfect icon of Miss Hong Kong possess.
