Luk Fook Holdings (International) Limited (¡§Luk Fook¡¨ / the ¡§Group¡¨) (Stock Code: 590), the leading gold and jewellery retailer in Hong Kong, proudly announced that Forbes Magazine named the Group as one of Asia and the Pacific's 200 best companies with annual revenues under US$1 billion.
Chief Executive of the Group, Mr. Wong Wai Sheung said, ¡§Many of the companies on the list this year are from new business segments including pharmaceutical and chemical industries. Among the 22 Hong Kong enterprises on the list, Luk Fook is the only jewellery company being elected. Wheelock Properties, Cafe de Coral, Yip's Chemical Holdings Limited and Wing Hang Bank also made it to the list. The Group's Chief Executive, Mr. Wong Wai Sheung and the financial controller, Mr. Paul Law, are invited to attend the prize presentation ceremony held by Forbes on November 10 in Singapore. It will be an invaluable opportunity to exchange management experience with representatives from renowned companies and to further introduce Luk Fook to Asia and the Pacific region.
