The continuous achievement in this award symbolizes the Group's popularity among Mainland customers.

A total of 44 Hong Kong brands were selected as “The 3 rd Hong Kong and Macau Merchants of Integrity Award” , of which ten brands that got more votes were awarded as “My Favourite Top Ten Brands of Hong Kong”. This year, open votes accounted for 70% of the final score while the remaining 30% of the score was derived from professional judges. More than 80,000 SMS and 20,000 mailed voting forms were received from all over China, showing the scale and the popularity of the election.
The election aims at providing the best shopping guide and protection to tourists from the Pearl River Delta and other provinces in the mainland. Being one of the major newspapers in China and having a daily circulation of 3.17 million, Guangzhou Daily, with its creditability and influence, through the election, hopes to remind mainlanders to be more careful in selecting shops for shopping in order to protect their own rights.
